William J. Lessor

He was born in Salem, MA on April 3, 1936, the son of William and Kathleen

(Sullivan) Lessor.

William served in the US Army and prior to retirement, had worked as a machine operator for United Shoe Co. in Beverly MA. He was a member of the Beverly-Salem Elks Club for over twenty years. In his spare time, William enjoyed playing golf and sailing he was also an avid reader.

He was predeceased by both parents; his sister Marie Lessor; and one niece and one nephew. Family members include his twin sister, Jane O'Neil of Hampstead, NH; four nieces, Susan, Katie, Sharon and Ann; a nephew, David; several grand nieces and grand nephews; and close friend Don & his wife Karen (the boss).

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH. Donations may be made in his memory to the Elks National Foundation, 2750 N. Lakeview Ave, Chicago, IL, 60614-2256.
