William J. Moeckel

William J. "Bill" Moeckel, 48, of Bedford, died October 21, 2015 at his home after sudden cardiac arrest.

Bill loved life. He loved his family and his friends. His passions included running, road and mountain biking, skiing, gear, and being a great dad. He had a great sense of humor and a knack for being goofy and dancing around at just the right time.

Bill's family includes his wife of 22 years, Jennifer Shea Moeckel of Bedford; his daughter, Katherine "Kate" Moeckel of Bedford; his mother, Paula Moeckel of Fremont; three siblings, Susan Carelli of Dover, Lori Lesofsky and her husband, John, of Tyngsboro, MA, and Joseph Moeckel of Lutz, FL; nieces and nephews John, Taylor, Erika, Nicholas, Joshua, Braiden, Sarah, Garron, and Luke; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on April 16, 1967 to George and Paula (Gioioso) Moeckel. He earned a bachelor's degree from Boston College and a master's degree from Bentley University. He lived in North Andover, MA for many years before moving to Bedford in 1996.

Bill was the founder and president of WJM Financial, LLC, a fee-only financial planning firm he expanded by adding his trusted business partner, Jean Fullerton. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and his clients.

Graveside committal prayers were held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Bedford Center Cemetery, Church Road, Bedford.
