William Leo Paul Nicholas “Santa”, “Will”, “Bubby”, 24, of Exeter, NH passed away peacefully, at his residence on April 4th, 2025.
Born in Manchester, NH on February 17th, 2001, he was the son of Susan M. Nicholas and Steven A. Paquin. He was a graduate of Campbell High School, Class of 2019, Litchfield, NH and attended Job Corp.
Will was very active in his high school drama club, music club and became an honorary fire fighter with the Litchfield Fire Dept., after volunteering 140 hours for his senior project. He became an ordained minister in 2023 as well.
Will was a history buff, loved Abraham Lincoln, and could recite both the Emancipation Proclamation and Gettysburg Address at the age of 5. Traveling was something Will thoroughly enjoyed, especially to Maine, York Beach, Nubble Light, to Washington, DC and the annual New Year’s Day trip to the Lego Store with his mother. He loved legos, NFL football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, video games, Retro TV (which Will had the opportunity to meet some of the cast personally), Emergency, Batman, cooking shows and most recently, Shifting Gears.
Will’s devotion to rescuing cats provided him with seven cats, Simba, Jasper, Lulu, Stinky, Tiger, Midnight, Daisy and Harmony. He also had the pleasure of caring for Stripes and Bella before they passed away. Lastly, Will’s true passion was Santa Claus and the spirit of Christmas. To Will, everyday was Christmas. Will loved wearing Tye Dye, and truly believed that “although we are all different on the outside, we are all the same on the inside”. Above all else, Will will be remembered as a loving and caring son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
Will is survived by his mother, Susan Nicholas of Exeter and her significant other, Mike Allard of Manchester; his father, Steve Paquin of Concord; two siblings, Robert & Allen Paquin of Concord; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Nicholas and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Nancy Paquin.
