William C. “Bill” Smith, 64, slipped quietly from us as he answered Gods call on July 1, 2025.
He was the son of Charles W. Smith and Sandra (Petterson) Smith born on October 11, 1960 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Manchester.
He was a hard worker having been employed at Bellavance Beverage Company for 38 years as a “Conveyor of Alcoholic Beverages” Bill would say.
Family was very important to Bill, as he made sure Cathy, Sandra, Cindy, Staci and Lynda (Cathy’s sister) had a roof over their heads and anything they needed.
Bill loved to work on cars and furniture. He made Cathy some beautiful furniture during their marriage. He was the life of the party being the social butterfly that he was. Bill was the manager of Bellavance’s softball team for over 25 years.
Bill enjoyed golfing with friends and was on Club Nationals Golf League. While golfing at Souhegan Woods Golf Club on Mother’s Day in 2011, to his surprise, he got a hole in one and Cathy was the first person he called to share his news with.
Bill restored a 1970 Camaro “RATPOWR” a blown 454 LS6 he brought to car shows and the World of Wheels in Boston. He was currently working on his grandfathers 57 Chevy he had shipped up here from Tennessee.
Bill and Cathy enjoyed taking trips and cruises together over the years. H planned a cruise as a surprise for Cathy this fall.
While Bill was no fan of camping, he and Cathy spent many weekends camping with their trailer because Cathy loved it.
Bill leaves behind the love of his life and best friend Catherine (Powell) Smith and Jett Lee, his Doberman. Brady Wheeler was his wingman.
