Born in Handley, WV on August 16, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Rose (MacBrayer) Slone.
She attended East Bank High School in West Virginia, then earned as bachelor's degree in English from West Virginia Technical College in 1942. In 1949, she received a piano pedagogy diploma from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA
During World War II she served as a WAVE in the US Navy for three years as a Link Trainer Operator.
Mrs. Bordeleau taught piano privately from 1947 to 1997 in Massachusetts at Cambridge, Lowell and Framingham and for the last 30 years in Bedford. She played piano-duo music with her husband for concerts, and at restaurants and conventions.
The family includes her husband of 62 years, Paul E. Bordeleau of Bedford; three children, Edward G. Bordeleau and Janelle R. Bordeleau both of Bedford, and Philip P. Bordeleau of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Lyda Crowder of Chesapeake, WV; and two nephews and one niece.
IN HER LIFE: Mrs. Bordeleau was a member of the American Legion Post 79 in Manchester, and a past member of the American Federation of Musicians. She was certified as a piano teacher by the Music Teachers National Association and the Keyboard Teachers Association International.
She was an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Bedford and was honored as a Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
