Wilson R. Henderson, 92, of Manchester, died peacefully on June 3, 2017 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health surrounded by his long-time dear friends Anthony Donisi and Carmel Duval of Goffstown, NH. He was well cared for by the staff of Evergreen Place in Manchester NH and Bedford Hills Nursing Home in Bedford, NH
He was born in Skowhegan, Maine on May 19, 1925 to Mylie Dedrew and Margaret (Laney) Henderson. Wilson lived most of his life in Lawrence, MA and Derry and Manchester, NH. He served in the Navy until April 21, 1946 with an Honorable Discharge. He also served in the Merchant Marines. He held various jobs during his lifetime including a lodging house manager and limousine driver.
Wilson loved to cook; was an avid car enthusiast and a self-taught keyboardist.
He is predeceased by his wife Corinne M (Bilodeau) of 40 years on May 5, 2001, his daughter Susan on April 27, 1991 and a son Scott Andrew on October 31, 1964. He is predeceased by his 8 siblings. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
