Yvette C. Desindes, 92, of Manchester, died on January 2, 2022, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Disraeli, Quebec, Canada on June 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Albertine (Bolduc) Turcotte. She was educated in Canada and later devoted her life to caring for family with her husband.
Yvette enjoyed traveling, sewing, quilting and playing cards.
Yvette was kind, caring and giving. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Yvette was predeceased by her husband, Leonide J.P. Desindes in 2002; and her two sons, Joseph and Daniel Desindes in 1999.
Surviving family members include her two daughters, Francine Marcoux and husband Evan of Sarasota, FL and Lisa Poirier and husband Leo of Candia; one son, Ivan Desindes and wife Susan of Gadsden, AL; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Simone and Martine Turcotte; one brother, Leo Turcotte; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by both parents and seven siblings.
Services: There are no calling hours. All services will be private to family. Yvette will be buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
