Yvette E. Chaput, 90, of Bedford, died January 27, 2007, after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Hooksett, November 21. 1916, and was the daughter of Charles and Florida (Brouillard) Marier. Mrs Chaput lived in Manchester most of her life and in Bedford for several years.
She was co-owner, office manager and bookkeeper for Chaput Oil & Service Co. for 22 years. She was a member of St. Anne Sodality at Sacred Heart Church for over 50 years, holding different offices. She was very active in the ACFA and chairman of many functions.
She loved to sew, knit, crochet, and go dancing at the Carousel Ballroom. She liked to entertain family and friends and enjoyed telling jokes and playing cards. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always found the time to help others and will be remembered as a loving and caring person.
Our family would like to extend a very special thank you to the many caregivers who helped Yvette live the last three and a half years of her life in peace and comfort. Thank you to the staff at Villa Crest and Hospice Care and the many people who touched Yvette's life during the last years.
Family members include; 2 daughters, Pauline Jobin, and Anita Larochelle, both of Manchester; a son, Normand Chaput, of Litchfield; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Jeanne Hartford Peacock, of Hooksett, Florence Therriault, Rita Foss both of Manchester; several nieces nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Rosaire "Ross" U. Chaput September 9, 2004.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday January 30, 2007 in Sacred Heart Church, So Main St. Manchester.
Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester, NH.
