She was born in Manchester on March 6, 1931, the daughter of Wilfred and Mary (Gagnon) Biron. Yvette was educated in the Manchester School System, attended Central High School, and was a lifelong resident of the area.
She enjoyed life, was an avid reader, liked doing daily crosswords puzzles and especially watching television. Yvette was described as a kind and wonderful person who had a love for Christmas, of babies and for her family. More so, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Roger J. Savoie, in 1993.
The family includes three daughters, Irene Morgan and husband Douglas of Brooksville, FL, Elaine Faucher and husband Thomas of Manchester, and Claire Barrett of Temple; four sons, Normand Savoie of Manchester, Paul Savoie of Manchester, Roger Savoie of Huntington Beach, CA, and Raymond Savoie and wife Gail of Manchester; sixteen grandchildren, Anthony Morgan and wife Lysa, Kerrie Croteau and husband Brian, Normand Savoie, Jr., Jessica Sanborn and husband James, Heather Morgan, Erica Savoie, Marcel Faucher and wife Alyssa, Joey Savoie, Kristen Mitchell and husband Sean, Danny Savoie, Jacob Savoie, Eli Savoie, Geoffrey, Timothy, Cory & Megan Barrett; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers; and twin sons.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
