Yvette R. Sherbut

Yvette R. Sherbut, 83, of Manchester, died August 15, 2009 at her residence.

She was born in Manchester, on August 2, 1926 to Emile and Georgianna (Vanasse) Desmarais and was a life long resident of Manchester.

She was a devout Christian and a member of St. Anne Sodality of St. Anthony Parish.

She worked at NH Bedding Co. for many years and was recently described by her former employer as his most dependable & hard working head seamstress.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Armand Provencher in 1965 and by her second husband, Raeburn Sherbut in 1990.

She leaves a daughter, Jeannette (Gin) Heon and her husband Gerry of Manchester; four sons, Richard Provencher of Manchester; Normand Provencher and his wife Judi of Manchester; Robert Provencher of Northwood, and Leo Provencher of Manchester; Eight grandchildren, Scott, Mike, Cathy, Nicole, Matt, Sherri, Katie, and Joey. Six great-grandchildren. A sister, Therese Laflamme of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A step-son Carl Sherbut of Arizona and a step granddaughter Amy of Arizona.

She was predeceased by her two brothers, Andre and Girard Desmarais.

The family would like to acknowledge Hooksett Oncology and Mt. Carmel Nursing Home for their dedication in providing the utmost care & compassion to Yvette.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, August 21, 2009 in St Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., corner of Harvard Street, Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
