Yvonne (Charest) Ellis, 97, of Bedford, NH died March 3, 2018 at Bedford Hills Nursing Home following a period of declining health.
Born in Portsmouth, NH on September 9, 1920, she was the daughter of Alfred and Mathilda (Bourassa) Charest. She had resided in the Manchester area for many years since her retirement from the Burnham & Morrill Company of Portland ME.
She enjoyed cats and had rescued many of them through the years.
She is survived by her sister, Anne Currier of Auburn, CA and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Rachel (Currier), Joseph, Henry, Lorraine (Hamel), Irene (Blanco), Dorothy (Landry), Yvette (Douville), Violet (Piasczeny), Rita (Smith), and Ernest.
There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Animal Rescue League, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
