Yvonne B. (Willmer) Gosselin, 84, of Goffstown, died October 6, 2023 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She was born in Trowbridge, England on February 28, 1939 to Bernard and Joan (Varnum) Willmer. She lived in Goffstown for 12 years after living in Auburn for many years.
Along with her husband, she was the owner of A. Gosselin Steel, Inc. in Auburn. She was a longtime volunteer at the Salvation Army in Manchester, including serving on the advisory board and as a key member of the annual Santa Fund Toy Shop distribution. She also enjoyed traveling and time spent with her family.
Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, Arthur E. Gosselin in 2012 and a son, Michael A. Gosselin in 2022.
She is survived by six children, Mark A. Gosselin and his wife, Elizabeth, of Auburn, Lori J. Jache of Hooksett, Richard S. Gosselin of Pembroke, Christopher E. Gosselin of Goffstown, Brian A. Gosselin and his wife, Susan, of Manchester and Bonnie Newman and her husband, Michael, of Allenstown; three grandchildren, Patrick D. Gosselin of Auburn, Nicole M. Jache of Hooksett and Louis E. Newman of Allenstown; three siblings, Anthony Willmer of Thailand, Paul Foley of Massachusetts, and Andrew Foley of California; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday (10/13) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (10/14) at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Church 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
Memorial donations may be made to the Manchester Salvation Army.
